Personal History C H A R A C T E R B I O G R A P H Y:

Vincent is from Bozeman, Montana.

Vincent is the second oldest or could say the middle man. He has an older sister and the youngest one is a sister. Which literally makes him the middle man. His parents are still alive, running their own business with the help of his sisters. Vincent had a decent life growing up, living in what could still be classified as rural, Sherwood, Wisconsin, the state made famous for their cheese. That is something that his family made, was cheese, both from cow's milk and goat milk. Not only did they have that, they also had a small family winery as well. And can't forget the butter making nor homemade ice cream. Vincent was a hardworking individual, learning good work ethics while at a young age. His father found that he had a good head for numbers and also a knack at brokering good deals. At age 17, Vincent was wanting more than just the good farm life, he was wanting to go out and explore, see new sights. He wasn't set to inherit the family business as his father didn't see the reason why just the son inherited a business. After all, his sister was the oldest and who said a girl couldn't take over the business. After all, she was good at running things as well.

With his parents blessing as well as his sisters, Vincent joined StarFleet and went into security. He enjoyed it but could feel that is own individuality was starting to get lost in being part of a big machine. At times it seemed that the little guy got put in the background and not helped out. When able he looked for legitimate business deals for mom and pop shop owners to get a good dea. After all if there weren't those around it would just be purely humdrum conglomerates.

One day whilst on a station he was on staff at, as part of security, he met a girl. Shapely in frame with long dark hair. She was lovely, well spoken, and needed help. Her name was Ariana Kingston. Apparently he had a knight in shining armor complex which made it to where he was in some aspect, vulnerable. All around nice guy. She was lovely all that a man could dream of, he fell in love courted her for six months. Things went well, for a time, he thought they were happily married for two years. He was attentive and honest and they were expecting a child. After the baby was born, she let him know that she wanted a divorce.

Ilyana handed their daughter to Vincent, the man tearfully kissing the top of the little baby girl's head and each little delicate fingers and toes. He felt his daughter's hand close around his index finger. She fell asleep in his arms, a picture was taken of him holding her, with him looking down lovingly at his daughter.

Vincent was about 32 when he got married, 34 he found himself a divorced man with no family of his own. Plus an investigation into his background and his ex wife. Since he was in security, it was of utmost importance to make sure he wasn't a security risk. He stayed in StarFleet for another four years and then stepped down to StarFleet rserves. Listening to an advisor and went into StarFleet reserves.

Instead he went back home, and joined the crew of his uncle who was the owner and Captain of the SS Esmeralda at age 38. His Uncle Cyrus was grateful to have his nephew onboard helping to strike deals and keep things safe. 4 years passed, and one day, Vincent had come back from making a profitable deal to find his uncle badly beaten up and several others injured at the space port.

Now his Uncle may have been badly beaten, well maybe not that badly beaten, as the one who had accosted Uncle Cyrus and his crew, were in worse shape. A packet was found, having been dropped during the fight. And Cyrus had taken it to examine it further. What he found was astonishing. He gave it to Vincent to peruse the contents, knowing that his nephew would be even more surprised.

Vincent opened it up and his jaw dropped. There was an image of a familiar dark haired woman, and next to her was a little girl who couldn't be more than eight years old. He did the mental math, it couldn't be, could it? She had his eyes and her hair was slightly darker but she looked like the image of his younger sister at that age. Also inside the packet was even more surprising was, an image of him. What could all of this mean? Seeing all of this this Vincent felt it was time to leave and his uncle reluctantly agreed.

[Piece of Background Story]
Location: B'Rax II

"Good Luck Lad." Vincent's uncle said, giving his nephew a warm embrace, "I'll get in touch whenever I can. And I'll keep your family updated. Just be careful too." his uncle wiping some tears.

"Don't worry Uncle Cyrus, I'll be careful as much as possible." Vincent replied.

Giving a wave, Cyrus gave one last look at his nephew then walked back inside the ship, the ramp closing up.

Vincent watched as his uncle's ship left, taking off to who knew where, and it probably would be best for the most part, that he didn't know. Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, he walked to where he could get a bite to eat. And also get the lay of the land. There was what looked like a cantina where most of the time one could get a cheap but good meal, a good drink out of a semi clean container and also information.

The noise of the cantina was raucous and the music was loud, Vincent found himself a sort of quiet corner where he could eat his meaty stew and drink his beer. He had a bit of bread to help sop the leftovers of the stew when he was finished. A few bites while he watched a bit of a gambling game in the far corner of the establishment, then his view of the game was interrupted by a man taking a seat at his table without an invite.

"Greetings, you look like a man who is willing to work. I can tell by your hands that you are no stranger to hard work. I have heard that you might be looking for work."

Vincent raised an eyebrow at his remark, looking at the man before him, who looked like a rather rough sort, longish black hair, and beard that needed trimming, had a scar above his right eye and the man was built solid, Vincent was feeling a tad bit wary, wondering just what this guy said and had in mind. And then he saw the man's eyes, who had a kindly look in them.

It made him relax, sort of. He leaned back in his seat, and asked. "So tell me who did you hear this from?"

"Well it appears we have a mutual acquaintance, and he sent me a message calling in a favor, he said that someone matching your description would be looking for work and that you were willing to do almost anything to fill your belly. And" he touched the side of his nose. "You know said acquaintance rather well."

Vincent thought about it then his eyes widened. He couldn't believe his uncle did this for him! "

The man nodded when he saw that the connection was made, "yes I see you've gotten it. So how about it, you work for me for a bit then we part ways?"

Vincent nodded, "Sure, sounds good. Say what's your name?"

"Macklevee is what I am called, so we gotta deal?" the burly man looked at Vincent with a gleam in his eyes.

"Yeah we've got a deal" Vincent answered.

Macklevee grinned broadly, spit in his hand and held it out to Vincent. Vincent responded in the same manner, and the men shook upon it.

"'When you get done here, meet me at Dock 19, and we'll get you stowed on the SS Marick." he stated, rising up from the chair, "And I'd say hurry up and finish up your food as that" giving a nod towards where the card game was getting heated, "spills over to here."

Vincent nodded, hurriedly finishing up his food and drink then left, just as fists were beginning to fly and a bar room brawl was just starting. Vincent ducked out of the way, and was out the door to where his gear was waiting for him in a secure locker.

He tipped the person in charge of that location and made his way to the SS Marick and got signed on. Around three months passed, and Vincent got settled into the swing of things on the ship. He worked as security for delivery of products and also helped to broker some good deals.

One such time Vincent had gotten into a drinking contest, barely winning to seal the deal. The only way the deal would be done was if he lasted through the ordeal. The man was impressed and the deal was made. Vincent didn't want to look at anything alcohol after that, for a little bit. Later on the following week, Macklevee called Vincent to his office.

"Vincent, I'm sure you've already come to the realization that our time together is now done." the burly man looked at him.

Vincent nodded, "I was told, so next drop off point and I find another ship right?"

Macklevee nodded. "I'll be sad seeing you go, but as I had said, it was only temporary. Woulda liked to have signed you on longer but." he gave a shrug "You know how it is."

Vincent nodded yet again. "Thanks Captain, its been a pleasure and I'll be missing the SS Marick but like agreed on it had to be a short time. Uncle said that it had to be until I find someone who's not connected to either of you. " he held out his hand to Macklevee and gave it a firm shake.

"Lad, I am sure you'll be able to find some ship you can stay on longer than what you have been able to. May the good luck find you once more. I know I've been having a good run of luck since ye'd signed on. Be seeing you hopefully, later." Macklevee said with a grin.

"Thanks Macklevee, hope to see you once more." Vincent replied, with a smile.

The SS Marick dropped Vincent off as well as cargo and then headed off. Now Vincent needed to find the next ship to sign onto, and went to the docks to see what was available, maybe even be a passenger on a ship, to another place. Who knows, but he'd rather work. He checked several ships and, not finding any work there, he came towards another ship, an SS Gavia. Maybe, just maybe, he would find employment there.

Setting out there he approached the ship, seeing whom he could see wondering if this is where his road goes next, and to what future it may bring.
[End excerpt]

After traveling and working on several ships, even going to a station working independantly and looking to find out if anyone knew something about his daughter, or even his ex wife. He found himself at a dead end for the time being. Taking a look at his progress, Vincent came to the conclusion. He needed a change. After taking a battery of tests, Vincent was able to return to StarFleet. Not as a security officer but as an Operations Officer. He had the skills, he had the knowhow along with experience.

[Medical Notation]

When it was found that Vincent's ex wife wasn't who she was supposed to be, Vincent had gone through some difficult medical tests to make certain he was who he claimed to be. Out of fear that he could have been an imposter as in a changeling. The doctor that had taken care of those proceedings wasn't too gentle, utilizing some old fashioned, or so he claimed ways to determin if he were telling the truth, and proving he was human. When Vincent had reported this doctor who was unethical in his treatment. The doctor ended up disappearing.
